Wing Hang Platinum Home Insurance Plan
Wing Hang Platinum Home Insurance Plan* (“The Plan”) covers all your furnishings, furniture, household appliances, frozen food. In addition, you may access “24 Hour Home Assistance” hotline for necessary on site or referral service in case of emergencies.
   
The Plan provides cover for you and your family against liability in respect of bodily injury or property damage to a third party resulting from the negligence of you or a member of your family. You are also provided with a Fatal Accident Benefit of up to HK$200,000 due to fire and theft. What's more, the Plan can be extended to provide Employees' Compensation and other benefits for Your Domestic Helper.

5. Home Assistance Service

  • Emergency on site service: includes repair the main switch due to malfunctioning, repair the bursting pipe, arrange for locksmith to open the door

6. Domestic Helper
Protections for your domestic helper which include:
 
 
  • Employer's liability - Your liability under the Employees' Compensation Ordinance and at Common Law for death, injury or illness sustained by your domestic helper arising out of and in the course of employment.

* Major Exclusions from insurance coverage:
- Loss of or damage to contact lens, mobile/portable phones, pagers;
- Theft or loss whilst your home is unoccupied and has been unoccupied for over 30 consecutive days;
- Theft of or damage to properties at verandas or terrace;
- Items detained, seized or confiscated by customs or other officials;
- Usual uninsurable loss such as scratching, corrosion, wear and tear, mechanical breakdown, damaged by animals or insects; war, terrorism; nuclear radiation contamination, pollution contamination;
- An excess of HK$500 is applicable for each claim (except for loss or damage caused by fire, lightning or explosion).
