Responsibilities:
 
Assist in loan portfolio assessment and review
Perform credit irregularities monitoring
Conduct credit control activities and reporting
Requirements:
 
University degree in business, accounting or related disciplines
With banking experience in the surveillance of irregular trade financing activities is an advantage

Senior / Analyst Programmer - Data Warehouse / Basel II (Ref: GC/ITD-APD/WB)
Responsibilities:
 
Responsible for developing and supporting Data Warehouse applications
Requirements:
 
University degree in Computer Science or related disciplines
Minimum 2 years' experience in application development, preferably in banking field and 2 years' hands-on experience in SAS programming, Java, JSP and Oracle
A good understanding of ETL processes, data warehousing and data modeling techniques
Certification in SAS and Java is an added advantage
Experience in web development tools, including IBM Rational Application Developer, Websphere, IIS, etc is preferred
   
Senior Analyst Programmer (Web Applications) (Ref: GC/ITD-SAPWA/WB)
Responsibilities:
 
Responsible for developing web applications in Intranet and Internet platform
Requirements:
 
University degree in Computer Science or related disciplines
Hands-on programming experience in Java, JSP and Oracle is a MUST
Certification in Java and experience in SQL Server and Oracle will be an advantage
Preferably with experience in implementing large-scale Wealth Management Systems and Management Information Systems
Proactive, self-initiative, able to complete job assignments independently with minimum supervision and tight deadline
   
Analyst Programmer (Basel II) (Ref: GC/ITD-APBS/WB)
Responsibilities:
 
Conduct system development maintenance and provide on-going support of Data Warehouse systems
Ensure the systems objectives are achieved according to the defined schedule, cost and quality
Gather and analyse information for developing and modifying application systems
Design and specify systems to achieve defined objectives
Requirements:
 
University degree in Computer Science or related disciplines
Minimum 3 years' experience preferably in banking or Basel related field
Hands-on experience in SAS, Java, Oracle, Unix, Websphere, Data Warehouse
Certification in SAS is an added advantage
   
Mainframe Analyst/Developer (Ref: GC/ITD-MF/WB)
Responsibilities:
 
Responsible for developing and supporting mainframe applications
Requirements:
 
Strong Mainframe Systems exposure on CICS, DL/I and VSAM, preferably in Banking and Trading application
Good understanding of web development tools and practices
Strong technical knowledge of JCL, CICS/COBOL, Assembler
Knowledge of Client Server and OO technologies
Able to work in highly interactive team and complete job assignments independently
   
Network Engineer (Ref: GC/ITD-NE/WB)
Responsibilities:
 
Support the network infrastructure of Internet and Intranet
Provide technical support on network equipment and monitor network performance
Requirements:
 
University degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent disciplines with CCNA certification
Minimum 3 years' solid working experience in Cisco products, preferably in H3C products and CA unicenter network management system
Hands-on experience in project implementation and troubleshooting, SNA network Cisco routers, switches, firewall, access control server, Intrusion Detection Tool and other network hardware
Good knowledge in layer 2 & 3 protocols including, SNA, TCP/IP, Spanning Tree, VLAN, DLSW, EIGRP and BGP
Familiar with MetroEthernet implementation
Certification in CCNP will be an advantage
Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese
   
Open-system Analyst / Developer (Ref: GC/ITD-OP/WB)
Responsibilities:
 
Responsible for developing and supporting open system applications
Requirements:
 
Multi-tier application development experience, preferably in Banking and Trading application
Good understanding of web development tools and practices
Strong knowledge of HTML, DHTML, XML, SQL, Javascript, JSP, Servlet, EJB, VB, C++, JAVA
Solid skills in:
 
1. OO CASE Tools (UML)
2. OO modeling and programming
Able to work in highly interactive team and complete job assignments independently
   
Systems Programmer (Ref: GC/ITD-SP/WB)
Responsibilities:
 
Responsible for daily maintenance and system resources definition
Perform system monitoring, system tuning and OS upgrade
Requirements:
 
Diploma in Computer Studies/Science or its equivalent
Minimum 5 years' experience in IT related technical support and internetworking works
Knowledge in :
 
1. IBM z/OS, CICS, VTAM, VSAM, RACF
2. Microsoft HIS Server
3. IBM OSA configuration
4. MS Suite of Office products
Able to perform installation, configuration and troubleshooting on IBM mainframe and communication hardware and software products

Audit Manager (Ref: JL/IAD-AM/WB)
Responsibilities:
 
Plan, lead and perform audit assignments for departments, branches and subsidiaries
Identify critical risks and control functions, and develop effective audit programmes to address risk areas
Monitor and coordinate team members' audit progress to meet budget audit time
Discuss audit issues with unit management and draft audit reports
Requirements:
 
University degree in Finance, Accounting or related disciplines
Minimum 6 years' banking operations experience
Knowledge in audit requirements of banking industry and government regulations
Knowledge in PRC and Macau audit requirements is an added advantage
Proficiency in spoken Putonghua is an advantage
Willing to travel to PRC and Macau to perform audit assignments
(Candidates with less experience may be considered for the post of Audit Officer)

Legal Counsel (Ref: JL/LGD-LC/WB)
Responsibilities:
 
Provide legal advice and draft legal documentation in relation to all businesses of the Bank Group
Ensure compliance with laws and regulations across the Bank Group
Conduct legal research and update the Bank Group on relevant laws and regulations
Requirements:
 
University degree in Laws and a qualified lawyer
4 - 6 years' post-qualification experience in the provision of legal support in commercial area, preferably in banking industry
Preferably with knowledge of and exposure to issues relating to the Banking Ordinance, the Securities and Futures Ordinance or the HKMA Anti-Money Laundering Guideline
Strong communication and organizational skills
Professional presentation and report writing skills
(Candidates with less experience may be considered for the post of Assistant Legal Counsel)
